MPS DT - Welcome Home!

Today is the My Pink Stamper Design Team day.  We were asked to make a project or card for a man.  I bought the new Fathers Day Cricut cartridge for the Lazy-boy cut alone.  I LOVE it.  It just makes me laugh because it can be used so many different ways.  :)  I used Robyn's new Freedom Rocks stamp set for this card.  The 'Welcome Home' message was PERFECT for this cut.  Make sure you head on over to the My Pink Stampers site to see where you can order her stamps as well as see what the other design team members made.

I used my Imagine Mystical Garden cartridge for the burgundy paper in the background.  It was going to be my pattern design on the chair but it looked too busy.  I also used that cartridge to get the tan color of  my chair.

Card Recipe:
Imagine - Mystical Garden: Chair cut at 2.2"
My Pink Stampers Freedom Rocks stamp set
Action Wobble
Checkerboard Cuttlebug Embossing folder

Graduation Card

There are about 6 kids in my church that are graduating this year and they are all at the same school so it made it easy to make the cards.  :)  I just made an assembly line and put them together pretty quickly.  Their colors are black and blue w/ the accent colors of silver and white.  Their mascot is the jaguar.  I've attached a copy of their graduation invitation so you can see how it matches up.

I used the My Pink Stampers new Freedom Rocks stamp set for this card.  LOVE this stamp set.  It's actually very versatile.  Unfortunately I used white ink and you can't see it well.  You can actually see it better in person but I think you'd be able to see the black ink better.  Too late.  :)  I wish there was a fabulous white ink.  I've tried SU! ink and I've tried StazOn, not really yipee w/ either.  Anywho...  Hope you like the card.

I am also entering this card in with the Creative Critters Imaginations challenge w/ Tammy and her ladies.  We are to make a graduation card and need to use the Imagine somehow.  The printed blue paper is from the Blast Off Imagine cartridge.  It matched the blue color the best.  I printed it out with my Imagine then cut out the tassel on my Expression since the layout for this card was already set up on my Gypsy.

Thanks for looking!

Card Recipe:
Blast Off Imagine cartridge - Blue polka dot pattern paper
Wrap it Up Cricut cartridge - Graduation Cap cut at 2.7"
My Pink Stampers Freedom Rocks stamp set

Episode 63: Baby! Baby! Baby! Oh!

This card was made or my nieces birthday.  She loves Justin Bieber and is a really fun girl.  Her fave colors are pink and green.  I had a hard time trying to put that in this card so I went with colors that girls and boys like.  :)  The stamp I used is from the My Pink Stampers Sweet Baby.  It's original saying is Oh, Baby! I just masked different parts of it to make my sentiment.

Everyday Paper Dolls Cricut cartridge
My Pink Stampers Sweet Baby stamp set

This card was made for my really good friend Kim.  It's her birthday today.  Happy Birthday Kim!!!  I took her out on Saturday and gave her the card then so I'm good on posting it.  :)

This turned out to be such a fun card.  I love the colors and the meaning behind it.  That stamp is from Robyn's newest stamp set - My Pink Stampers Spectacular Sayings.  It is one of my fave's of the new release.  You can find a list of her retailers that are selling her stamps by going HERE.

On the inside is a Happy Birthday stamp from the same stamp set.  I forgot to take a pic of it but it fits perfectly so make sure you watch the video.  You can see it on there.

Some Fun Cards

Here are a couple of fast but cute cards I made to showcase the new My Pink Stampers stamps.  This new set I believe are MUST HAVES for all of them.  They are so versatile.  Love them!!!

This first card I made I used the My Pink Stampers Freedom Rocks stamp set.  You don’t have to use them just for patriotic or military. I made mine girly.  I thought it could be used for when your daughter goes off to college or is coming home from her mission.  You can use it different ways for sure.   Don’t get me wrong; this would be perfect for someone in the military as well.  J

This next card I made using the My Pink Stampers Invitation Only stamp set.  This one is really versatile.  The top two stamps say “You’re invited to a” and “It’s a” then the stamps below it you can combine with those two phrases.  So you can say ‘You’re invited to a neighborhood party!’ or ‘It’s a BBQ!’.  OR you can use the phrases separately, which is what I did w/ this card.  I also cut up my stamp (GASP).  That is the one thing I love about clear stamps.  You can cut them up to help you layer them like you need to.  This sentiment was originally on one straight line.

Come Home Soon Card Recipe:  Size 5” x 5”
Imagine Nursery Tails – Used the Layout page from Nursery Tails at 4.5”.  I cut the house from one of the art images as a layer piece alone at 4.5”.
My Pink Stampers Freedom Rocks stamp set
PTI – Kraft & Spring Moss Cardstock; Sweet Blush Satin ribbon
PTI – Sweet Blush Satin ribbon

Girls’ Night Out Card Recipe:  Size 5” x 5”
Imagine Better Together – Girls cut at 4.5”, no layers
My Pink Stampers Invitation Only stamp set
SU! Scallop border punch
PTI – Spring Moss button; White, Kraft & Berry Sorbet cardstock
The Twinery – Cappuccino Twine
White Gel Pen

Simply Crafts with Glora and Pam - Episode 59: Chicks Rock!

Happy first Wednesday of the month!  Which means it's Simply Crafts with Glora & Pam.  It's Glora's turn to pick the cut out that we will use.  She chose the girl with the microphone, button 2 on the overlay, on the Rock Princess Cricut cartridge.  It's a really cute cut but I wanted to do something a little different with it.  Also, because I was lazy.  It was really late at night when I made the card so I wanted as few pieces to put together as possible.  :)  So I made the cut 9" high and only cut out the top part of the girl.  I also hid the face cuts because I wanted to use some Peachy Keen face stamps.

Make sure you head on over to the very talented Glora's blog.  I LOVE how she finishes off a card.  She really adds the extra details to make it so fun.  I can't wait to see how she used the same cut.

Card Recipe:
Rock Princess Cricut Cartridge - Girl cut at 9"
My Pink Stampers Tweetie Hoo Puns stamp set
Peachy Keen Laughy Taffy stamp set
Cuttlebug Animal Prints Cheetah embossing folder

Hugs!

This card was so super simple to create thanks to the Pink Cat Studio digi image.  It came colored so I just had to print it out then cut it out w/ a Nestabilities.  Simple.  :)  I love how it turned out.  So pretty.

Something I like about digi images is that the cost is really low (this image is $3.50) and you can use the image as many times as you want, color it anyway you want and make it any size you want.

I also had to share a picture of my dogs.  I just thought it was so funny.  I was up really late one night and my dogs decided to try and sleep on the same bed.  Tavis went across the bed and Kyla was on her back going the opposite way.  And yes, her arms are going straight up in the air.  And Tavis is glaring at me because I keep taking pictures and the flash keeps going off at them.  I just thought it was really funny.  lol  You can click on the image to enlarge it.  :)
