Silhouette Pet Card

This is a birthday card that I made a really good friend of mine.  She's just loves her fur babies SO much that I had to put them on her card.  The idea that came to mind was a simple classy card and to put them all in silhouette.  So she has has a wiener dog, a poodle and a cat right now and it fit perfectly on a tall card.  Her fave color is also lime/chartreuse green so I incorporated that as well.

That's what I love about making cards.  You can design them towards the persons interests.

This is what the inside looks like.  She had a cocker spaniel, her first fur baby, that passed away a few years ago.  I wanted to incorporate her into the card so put her on the inside.

To make my silhouettes, I used my Silhouette.  :)  It cut out those little curls on the poodle so well.  LOVE this machine.  :)

Birthday & Graduation Card

Hey Crafters.  Here is a SUPER simple card that I put together for my niece.  She is graduating High School on her birthday.  What a birthday present huh?  :)  So I decided to make a combo card.  I immediately thought of a butterfly since a caterpillar makes a big change to a butterfly she will be making a big change by graduating High School and turning 18.

The butterfly is a freebie that came on my Silhouette and I used the print and cut feature.  I have to say, this cut out beautifully.  Lined up perfectly.  I still love my Imagine but I have to say that I think the print and cut feature on the Silhouette is A-MAZ-ING.

Zebra Print Birthday Card

Hi Crafters!  This week on the Creative Critterz Imaginations blog we are continuing the theme of Anything Goes.  I decided to use one of my favorite Imagine cartridges this week.  It's the Black & White Imagine cartridge.  It really is so versatile.  Love it.  :)

I decided to make a fun, hot pink, zebra print birthday card.  This card was so super simple.  I printed the zebra print on some hot pink paper.  I then glued down a white strip of paper, 1 1/2 inches wide, and then put down this super fun web ribbon on top of the white paper.  I originally bought this thinking it would be great for Halloween but thought it would be perfect for this card.

Here is the inside.  I like adding a little something to the inside of the card.

This is my last post as a Creative Critterz Imaginations design team member.  I have had so much fun being on this team.  The ladies are a lot of fun and this team has made me use my Imagine more, which I'm so grateful for.  It really is a fun and versatile machine.  Thank you for letting me share my Imagine projects with you.

Rockin' Mother's Day!

Today's Mother's Day card is more of a funky rockin' type of card.  This is for my sister from her boys.  She is a little funky and rock n' roll.  The cartridge I thought of immediately is the JT Imagine cartridge.  It has some real fun patterns on there.  I wish I wouldn't have added the jewels.  I think I liked them better not on there but too late.  :)  I printed the message w/ my computer.

Elegant Mother's Day Card

Hi Crafters!  This week over at Creative Critters Imagination blog we're continuing the theme of Mother's Day.  I immediately thought of Lori's Garden Imagine cartridge.  It has so many elegant images on it.  The image I found on the cartridge was this horizontal rose vine image.  I thought that it would look great on a tall card.  I also added a sentiment, pearls, and glitter to finish it off.
I popped up the main rose w/ 1 level of pop dots.  Then popped up the center part of the rose w/ 2 levels of pop dots to make it stand out more.  I outlined the rose w/ Diamond stickles.  If you use Diamond Stickles on a printed image it wets the ink and makes it darker.  So it matches the colors of the design perfectly and you only need one color of Stickles.
