Hi Crafters and Bakers! Today is the Cookie Card Challenge. I was looking through Georgeanne's cookie blog, LilaLoa
, trying to decide on a cookie to remake into a card. I decided on a Valentines theme because I am already over Winter. I am definitely looking forward to a little warmer weather and a color other than grey. :) Plus, my favorite color is Red so it was a no brainer for me. :)
Here is the cookie that I chose to recreate. I'm not going to lie, I can't remember if I've already recreated this one before or not but it spoke to me so I didn't care. lol You can find her blog post on these cookies HERE
Here is the card that I made. It's a long card which works perfectly with this design. My only thing I wish I changed is adding more stems and having them more "loose" looking. But all in all I love it.
I love the DCWV glitter yardstick. It is so shiny and pretty. :) Here is a side view:
I also added a frame and heart in the inside:
Thanks for stopping by! This was a simple card but it was a lot of fun and I love it. :) Be sure to stop by Georgeanne's blog, LilaLoa
, to see what she made.
