Cookie Card Challenge - A Partridge in a Christmas Tree

Hi Crafters & Bakers! Today is the cookie card challenge! I'm allowed to borrow one of my cousins cookie designs and use it to make a card. She also uses one of my card designs to make cookies! :) I saw these ADORABLE partridge cookies and knew I had to make it.  You can find her post HERE.  I also saw the red ornaments so decided to make a Christmas tree instead of a pear tree w/ these on them.

Here is the card...

My bird originally had legs & a spiky feather at the top of her head.  I cut them both off and added a swirl to the top of my bird.

Thanks for stopping by!  Make sure you head on over to LilaLoa to check out what she made!  Have a FABULOUS CHRISTMAS!!!

Cookie Card Challenge - Dancing Bones

Hi Crafters & Bakers! Today is the Cookie Card challenge that Georganne (aka LilaLoa) and I do making a project using a design of the other person.  I love being able to steal, I mean, be inspired by her cookie creations.  :)  When I saw these cookies I fell in love w/ them.  I LOVE their huge heads.  :)  You can see her post HERE

Seriously, aren't they the cutest Halloween cookies???  I made my creation off of the Skeleton one.  Here is my project:

Multi Cards Explosion: Day 7: Scuba Birthday Card

Day 7 and Last Day of the MULT-CARD EXPLOSION!   Be sure to check out days 1-6 if you haven't already.  Today is a "card" that I made for my uncle.   He just became scuba certified and thought this would be a fun one.

So unfortunately I don't remember all my cuts on this one.  It was over a year ago that I made it.  I did use my Cricut for it.  I believe a lot of them are from the  'Life's a Beach' Cricut cartridge.  I also used a box cut for my "card".  So to make it a card I taped down one side of the lid.  I used a blue cellophane for the front of my box to make that underwater look.

Thanks for stopping by!  Hope you enjoyed all of the cards.  Hopefully I'll keep up on my postings from here on out.  :)

I created the Jealous/Envy message by just changing out the wording from the front of the card cut.

Hanging out w/ the Fall

I wanted to make a Fall scene since we started getting cooler weather weeks ago.   I saw this adorable scarecrow scene from SVG Cutting's website and had to recreate it.  :)  I'm also submitting it to their Fall color challenge.

The sleeves are the same color as the shirt, I just used Versamarker to make it a tad darker.  I did the same thing w/ the pumpkins, hat & outlined a bit on the ground.  It's perfect for making some distinction between the cuts but using the same color tone.

I hand the cut the ground.  Thanks for stopping by!  I'm continuing on my Multi-Card Explosion tomorrow.  Be sure to stop by.  Also, check out my Cookie Card Challenge that I posted this morning.

Cookie Card Challenge: Oh Baby!

YAY!  It's the 2nd Thursday of the month which means it's time for the COOKIE CARD CHALLENGE!!!   :)   Hello Crafters & Bakers!  Today I get to use one of Georganne's cookie designs from her blog, LilaLoa, and make it into a card.  This month I chose these ADORABLE little baby boy cookies!  You can see her post on them HERE.

Seriously!  How CUTE are those cookies!!!  My inspiration came from the baby bottle design w/ the little bows on them.  Have I mentioned they are CUTE?  :)

Here is my design:

I wish I did better on the alignment of the words but oh well.  I'm not perfect.

I thought it was the most darling baby card so I made a girl version of them.

Thanks for stopping by!  My Multi-Card Explosion marathon will continue tomorrow.  Make sure you stop by LilaLoa to see what she has made from one of my designs!

Multi Cards Explosion: Day 5: Schooling Cards

Day 5 of my MULTI-CARD EXPLOSION!!!! Today I'm featuring some graduation cards and a funny school card. :) Be sure to check out my Days 1-4 if you haven't already.

Card 1:  Graduation

Card 2: Pop Up Box Graduation

I changed up the sticking up cuts to images I found through Free Google searching.  All the images have to deal w/ my nieces likes.  I also made one for my nephew but forgot to take a pic of that one.  Wish I did, I loved it too.  I created a pocket on the inside for some moola for them.

Card 3: Math Penguin

So back story on this one.  There is a joke in our family where we have an iceberg in our head and only so many penguins (memories) can fit on it.  So sometimes we need to chuck off a penguin so a new penguin can get on it.  I made this card for someone that has troubles w/ Algebra.  He finally passed his college class so I gave him this card and told him to chuck the penguin off, he is no longer needed!  :)

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to check out Day 6 on Friday! Tomorrow is my special Cookie Card Challenge!  Definitely make sure to check it out tomorrow.  One of my fave days of the month!
