Cookie Card Challenge - Dancing Bones

Hi Crafters & Bakers! Today is the Cookie Card challenge that Georganne (aka LilaLoa) and I do making a project using a design of the other person.  I love being able to steal, I mean, be inspired by her cookie creations.  :)  When I saw these cookies I fell in love w/ them.  I LOVE their huge heads.  :)  You can see her post HERE

Seriously, aren't they the cutest Halloween cookies???  I made my creation off of the Skeleton one.  Here is my project:

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Be sure to head on over to LilaLoa's blog to check out what she made out of one of my creations.

Zombie Birthday

My nephew loves zombies. I guess they are the thing right now.  :)  I found this cut at the Silhouette store and thought it was perfect. I didn't want to make it bloody gross so I kept it simple. He loved it. Super simple boy card...

To make the stripes in the background I embossed the white cardstock w/ the Cuttlebug Distressed Stripes embossing folder then lightly ran the blank ink pad over the embossed area.

The perfect boys card.  :)  Thanks for stopping by!

Hello Bakers and Crafters! Today Georgeanne and I are doing our Cookie Card Challenge. Which means I'm lucky enough to snag one of her cookies and use it as inspiration for one my cards.   :)  October is quite the Halloween month so I chose one of her Halloween cookies.  Here are her cookies:

You can see her blog post HERE on these cookies.

Here is my take on the cookies:

I swear the color of the hair is a neon green.  lol  For the background, I used the spiderweb Cuttlebug Embossing folder then rubbed a black ink pad across it to make it stand out even more.

Hi Crafters! It's the first Wednesday of the month which means a new challenge is up on the Simply Crafts Challenge blog w/ Glora and I! :)  Woo Hoo!  Both of us got the new Create a Critter 2 cartridge so we just had to use one of their cute Halloween cuts.  I chose the vampire bat cut because it looked adorable.  So if you have this cartridge use this cut.  We are also opening it up to any Halloween project because it's our 1 year anniversary and wanted a lot of participation.  :)  Only thing you need to make sure on is that it is a NEW project, not a past one.  Here is my project:

To participate in the challenge head on over to the Simply Crafts Challenge blog.  You need to submit your project(s) before October 16th.  Also head on over to Glora's blog to check out her project and how she put it together by going to her blog HERE.  She really is one of the most amazing crafters out there and the nicest!  :)  Look through her projects, you'll be amazed.  :)

Episode 92: Another Halloween Treat Idea

Happy Tuesday!  OK, before I get on to the post I need to explain something.  I totally forgot that for the Creative Critters Imaginations design team post were suppose to use certain colors.  I was thinking it just needed to be another Halloween project.  So my project doesn't contain Orange, Purple or Green.  It does contain some black though!  LOL  :)

Anywho...  I just got the 'Enjoy the Seasons' cartridge and saw this Haunted House and had to use it.  It is so detailed and I just love it.  My project is super simple.  The image is cut at 1.5".  My clear bags are 2"x8" and I got them from Clearbags R Us on Ebay.

Thanks for stopping by and watching!

Too Cute To Spook!

Happy Tuesday!  For my Creative Critterz Imaginations design team post we are making Halloween Cards.  So for my card today I wanted to do something different than I normally do.  I usually make A2 size cards so I decided to make a circle card.  It's still simple but that's me.  :)  The circle card is sized at 5" and it was from a kit that I already had so I just pulled it out and decorated it.  Easy.  My first designer paper circle is cut at 4.7" and is from the Bubblegum Stripes Imagine cartridge.  My next paper is cut at 4" and is also from the Bubblegum Stripes Imagine paper.

Today is the last day to submit your project over at the Simply Crafts challenge blog.

Card Recipe:
Bubblegum Stripes Imagine Cartridge
Simply Charmed Cricut Cartridge - Ghost 3.5"
Pop-Up Neighborhood Cricut Cartridge - Sign 2.2"
Black & Orange Twine
Bling
5" Circle stock card from a kit
SU! Only Orange and Chocolate Chip markers

Classy Halloween Card

Hi Crafters!  Today's post is for the Paper Playtime Challenge.  I'm back on their design team and they have a new setup now.  The first Monday is dedicated to Cricut cuts.  The 3rd Monday is dedicated to sentiments.  This project we are to use buttons, bows and a sentiment.  This is what I came up with.

I love how the button came out.  The button is from a sweater that was snagged so is not usable anymore.  So I snipped off the buttons because I like the big black fat button look.  It ended up being perfect for this project.  I flipped the button over so the bumpy parts are on the bottom and the flat part is the top.  I then stamped the spider from the My Pink Stampers Spook-a-licious stamp set w/ Versamark ink on the button.  Then heat embossed in white.  I put Scor-pal tape on the back edge of the button and wrapped the orange thread around the button.  It turned out really fun.

It's hard to tell in the picture but the white paper has some shiny embossed ghosts on it.  Love the look of it in person.

To participate in the challenge you can submit your project at the bottom of this post (it will show up on the Paper Playtime challenge post as well), or head on over to the Paper Playtime challenge blog to submit your project.  Just needs to have a bow, button and a sentiment.  There is a giveaway involved as well.  Make sure you check it out!  :)

Episode 90: Neighborhood Boo Treat Container

Happy Tuesday!  For today's Creative Critterz Imaginations design team blog post we are making Boo projects.  Have you done those in your neighborhood?  It's big in my neighborhood.  You get a treat anonymously from a neighbor along w/ an instruction sheet and a boo sheet to put in your window showing you got boo'd.  Then you have 2 days to Boo 2 other houses in your neighborhood.  My house just got boo'd in the last few days so this project came at just the right time.  :)  I've scanned in images of the instruction sheet that we got and the Boo sheet.  It's at the bottom of this post.

I learned how to make this container from Glora's Crafts.  Thanks Glora!  :)  This container is actually really easy to make and it is so cute.  My mom saw them and she is already making a list of who to give more too.  :)  Enjoy!
