MPS Color Challenge

This card was made for the My Pink Stamper Color Challenge. We needed to make a project using brown, green, pink and orange.

I used the Straight from the Nest cartridge for the bird. I used the flip feature on it because the bird was originally facing the other way. The branch cut is from the ZooBalloo cartridge. I embossed the white paper w/ the Polka Dots Cuttlebug embossing folder.

The designer paper used is from a couple of paper packs that I got at Walmart. The name brand is called Colorbok and the packs I used are called Bright and Bright Florals. The ribbon is from PTI. The eye on the bird is stamped from the Peachy Keen Baby Animal Faces n More! stamp set.

The sentiment stamp is from the new My Pink Stampers Tweetie Hoo Puns stamp set. Love 'em!

Head on over to My Pink Stamper to see the other submission for this challenge and to submit your own! I hope you can participate!

YAY Summer!

Here is a card I made for my brother who is in Florida right now. The inside towels are a joke. The point of it was he is on bikes in Florida and when he went to an appointment he was so wet from the humidity and heat the lady offered him a towel. Too funny. :) (Ignore the handwriting on the inside, my handwriting is poo w/ this white pen)

The ice cream sundae is from the Sweet Treats cartridge. I cut off the candle because I didn't like the look of it. I used UTEE on the syrup cuts to make it look like actual syrup. Well, that was what I was going for anyways. The YAY SUMMER! stamp was made using a CTMH alphabet stamp set. There is no name on the package so I don't know which one. I like it though. :) The towel rack with towels is from the Sweethearts cartridge.

I used the hide contour feature A LOT on my Gypsy for this card. LOVE IT! It helps so I don't have to cut things that don't need to be cut. Definitely recommend this nice little tool.

My Pink Stamper Family & Friends stamp set - The word Fabulous!
My Pink Stamper Simply Sweet Occasions stamp set - The flower on the Flip Flops

Paper:
I used SU! & PTI solid cardstock
Designer paper - k&i Memories Classic Prints paper pad

Be sure to look at all the other projects from the rest of the My Pink Stamper's design team. You can see them HERE.

I hope you all have a Fabulous Summer!!! And a BIG THANKS for visiting and joining my site. It has been a real pleasure being one of Robyn's design team members. I have loved every minute of it! Our lovely Paper Queen Sue is in charge of this weeks Paper Playtime Challenge. The theme is Bugs, Bees, Ants or Ladybugs. You can interpret the theme anyway you want. The end date for this challenge is Sunday, June 27th. Make sure you go over HERE and participate. It's fun to participate in the challenges!

I used the Create a Critter cartridge for the flower and the caterpillar. Aren't they adorable? :) The grass is cut from Straight from the Nest cartridge. I cut it out twice to add extra layering on the card. The face stamp is from Peachy Keen Stamps Critter Faces Set A X-Large stamp set. The solid cardstock is from SU! and the designer paper on the flower is from the DCWV Flower Shower Spring Stack.

Whoooo loves them? I do! :)

The solid cardstock is from PTI, the bird designer paper is from DCWV Nana's Nursery Baby Boy paper pack. The designer paper on the bird if from the K&i Memories Classic Prints paper pad. I used the SU! Celebrations border punch on the green paper.

Happy Fathers Day!

Here is a Father's Day card I made for my nephews to give their Dad. Now, I agree he is the best dad for them but I think mine is the best! ;)

This cut is from the new Cricut Lite Handy Man cartridge. I promised myself that I wouldn't get any Lite cartridges until they were around $25/30. Yeah, that lasted all of 1 week. :) I got a little bonus money from work so went to Walmart and got 3 Lite cartridges. I want 12 so leaving w/ only 3 is fantastic for me. lol :)

I used the Diamond Plate cuttlebug folder on the silver metallic paper. For the sentiment I printed it w/ my computer.

Pink Floral Card

I used the Freshly Picked cartridge for this card. The flowers come w/ greenery on the cartridge but I opted out of using it. All paper and ribbon is from Papertrey Inc. I used the bow easy tool for the bow. Loving this little tool. I now have cute bows! :D I put dashed lines on the flowers w/ my Uni-ball Signo white gel pen. I used the new embossing folder called Polka Dots.

Heartfelt Thanks

Here is a thank you card I made for a lady in my church who taught my Primary class for me on Sunday. The cut is from the new Freshly Picked cartridge. I couldn't find a patterned paper I was in love with for the flowers so I found a color I liked and then stamped it with a background stamp & Versamark and then clear embossed it. The ribbon is from PTI. For the pot the original color of it was a light apricot color cardstock. I didn't like the lightness of it so I used Tim Holtz Tea Dye ink and brushed it on. I used the Bow Easy for the bow, my first time. I really like this nice little tool. :D The stamp is from the My Pink Stamper Simply Sweet Occasions stamp set.

I got the Bow Easy from the Gina K. Designs site. You can see it HERE. She also has a video HERE on how to use it as well.

Monster Eye Patch

I made this card for my brother Ster who is on his mission. In all his 24 years he has never had to have surgery. Within the last year while he has been on his mission he has had 2. We just think it's hilarious. :) So his latest one was a type of eye surgery. He had some bump in his eyelid and had to have it removed. When the doc took it out he was surprised and said 'This isn't what we were expecting. Hmm... We'll have it tested" And that was it. No other information. So he gets his test results back later this week. We're not worried. We know everything will come out normal.

Anywho, when I was trying to come up with a card to make I saw this little guy on the new Mini Monsters cartridge and just had to make it. He's wearing an Eye Patch! Perfect! :D The orange base cardstock is from SU! The designer paper is from the Sassafrass Monstrosity paper pack. I just had to use some paper from that stack considering the little monster I made. The paper for the monster was just basic cardstock from Roberts. I'm not sure where I got the stamp from. I think it is one of those Hero Arts mini stamp sets but don't quote me on that. :D

Happy Birthday Kimmie!

Here is a birthday card for my friend Kim. She is just fabulous so I of course I had to use this stamp which then inspired the card. The stamp is from the new Punny-licious stamp set from My Pink Stamper. LOVE THEM! :) The cute frog is from the Create a Critter cartridge. I added a string of bling for her necklace and I also added eyelashes to make her more girlie. I used the Swiss Dots cuttlebug folder to add texture. The pink ribbon and paper frame is from PTI. The green paper is from SU! The designer paper is from DCWV Spring Paper Pack.

This is what I did on the inside to add a gift card. What I probably should have done is have the insert for the card on the side just in case the card falls out when they are looking at the card. Didn't think about that until later. Luckily it was pretty snug in there.
