Snow! Snow! Snow!

I just felt the need to comment for some reason.  We've had SO much snow today.  It's on top of the snow that we received last week.  Kyla has such short stubby legs that she is getting lost in it.  But she loves it!  I'll try and take a pic of her out there.  The hard part is that she has hair, not fur, so the snow just sticks to it.  I practically have to give her a bath every time she comes in.  The snow covers her legs completely and then it covers her underbelly.  Then I have to wash off her face because she just dives in it.  Its fun to watch but not fun to clean up.  :)  Now Tavis is another story.  He tiptoes through it, does his business and gets back to the door as soon as possible.  The less time he is outside in weather other than sunshine the better.

Another funny thing that Kyla does is when I am trying to dry her off she just stands there.  I dry off the front two legs then start with the back legs.  She has gotten so use to this routine that when I move to her back legs she sticks her legs up one at a time in the air for me to clean them.  Cracks me up!  Ahhhh....  I love my kids.  ;)

On a crafting note, I have so much homework this week that I won't have as many posts as I thought I would have this week.  I should have at least 3: Mon, Wed, & Fri.

~ Have a great week!

Oh Come Let Us Adore Him...

Here is a simple Christmas card I made.  I love the image and the sentiment.  I think I will be making these for the neighbors and the families my family visit each month.  It will be easy to duplicate in volume.

I made the bow with Wrinkled Vintage Hand-Dyed ribbon that I bought at My Craft Spot by Kimberly.  I used my Bow Easy and made a double bow.  This is my favorite color, it's SO gorgeous!!!  It's called Harvest Wine.  Thanks Kimberly!  :)
