Yappy Birthday!

Hi Crafters! Today, Glora and I are doing our cut challenge. It was my time to choose the cut and I chose the graduating dog on the Create a Critter 2 Cricut cartridge. I thought this little guy was adorable.  :)  I didn't want my dog graduating, I wanted him more universal so I kept the graduating cap off.

The color I chose makes is user friendly for either a male or female card.  :)

I'm not a super fan of the placement of my sentiment but I had to put it there because I messed up when I was putting the sentiment straight on my card so I had to cover it up.  lol  :)  And what about that border punch?  Isn't it darling?  It's one of my favorites.

Be sure to go to Glora's blog at Glora's Crafts to see what she made w/ this cut.  Thanks for stopping by!

Sew... Happy Valentines!

Before I get to my post I have to say I had a panic attack this week.  I went to get my favorite red paper out, Paper Trey Ink Pure Poppy - seriously the perfect red, anyway, I'm OUT!  Hello!  It's Valentines!  I kinda need red.  Luckily I had some cheaper red cardstock, not my favorite but it'll do until I can restock.  So on to my post...

Hello Crafters and Bakers! Today Georganne are doing our monthly challenge. I make one of her cookies into a card and she makes one of my cards into a cookie. The cookie that I recreated is this one:

Isn't it so cute?  I especially love the little buttons in the corners. You can see her post HERE.  If you have never been to her blog you have to check it out.  Not only are her creations A-MAZ-ING her blog posts are so funny.  It is definitely worth going there.  :)  Here is my take on her cookie:

Have to say, I can't take a straight picture to save my life.  lol  I really liked the way this card turned out.  I only wish I made the ribbon holes farther apart on the heart to make the X more noticeable.  Lesson learned.  :)

I wish you could see the embossing better on this picture.  It's tiny little hearts.  So adorable.  Glad I found that embossing folder.  Head on over to Georganne's blog to see what she made of mine.  I can't wait to see it myself!  :)
