You're Grand Imagine Card

This is the card I made for my sister-in-law's birthday.  She is the most FABULOUS piano player.  Amazing!  I got this idea for this card from Edna.  You can see her card HERE.  After I made my card I went back to look at hers again and realized that I used the same colors.  LOL  I totally didn't mean to but there you go.   Thanks Edna!  :)

I used the preloaded images that are on the Imagine for the background top note cut and flood filled it w/ the music notes pattern paper from the Imagine More cartridge.  I also used the Imagine More cartridge for the piano.  The top note cut for my sentiment is from the Nestabilities Labels 8 set.  I know that these Nestabilities have been around for a while but I just discovered them and I LOVE them.  I now have a new passion that I am collecting.  :)

Buzz Lightyear!

This card I had a TON of help with.  My cousin was wanting a card for her sons birthday and he loves Buzz Lightyear.  Of course that is one cartridge I don't have so I turned to my crafting buddy Glora who is a Disney nut.  I figured she would have it and she did.  Woo Hoo!  So she cut it out and put it together for me.  Which is a bigger favor in and of itself.  So many pieces!  :)  I also put him on an Action Wobble to make it more interactive for her son.

Card Recipe:
Disney/Pixar Toy Story - Cricut Cartridge (Thanks Glora!)

What the Spring???

So this is what I woke up to this morning here in Utah after nice 70 degree weather yesterday:

About 7"-12".  Just glad that my church is having General Conference this weekend!  :)  No driving today.  General Conference is where we listen to talks from our leaders on TV.  This happens twice a year.

K, this picture is really funny.  The snow that we got is really heavy and one of our limbs was hanging really low in the street so my brother went out to shake the snow off so it wouldn't break.  Then he threw the broom he was using in the tree to get the remaining amount off and got the broom stuck.  So he had to get a rake to get the broom out.  LOL  Reminds me of the movie IQ w/ Meg Ryan.  So funny!!!

Have a great Sunday!

FIF: Bird in Disguise

Happy April Fool's Day.  Have to say this isn't my fave holiday, I tend to just stay in.  :)

For the Flaunt it Fridays Challenge this week you need to make a project using the Bird in Disguise image from the 3 Birds on Parade Cricut cartridge.  If you don't have that cartridge they are accepting anything w/ a bird on it.  I really like the 3 Birds on Parade cartridge.  Not so much for the bird images but for all of the little extras.  Not that the birds aren't cute too.  :)  Like this bird in disguise image:

Then for the inside you can say 'It's Your Birthday!' or 'You're Great!' or anything you want.   I have the little guy on an Action Wobble, which of course makes him more fun.  :)

Be sure to head on over to the Flaunt it Friday's blog to participate.  If you win you are put in a drawing for the monthly grand prize.  Totally worth participating!
