It's the My Pink Stampers design team day! The theme for our projects is Bright and Fun. I don't know how fun my project is but it is bright. :) I decided to make a tall card. These are really fun to make. You take a piece of cardstock that is 8" x 9". Score down the 4" mark until you have your base sized at 4" x 9". These fit in business size envelopes.
The stamp set I used is Robyn's new stamp set called Spectacular Sayings. This stamp set is a must have, it is so versatile. :)
Make sure you head on over to Robyn's blog to see the other design team's projects.

Episode 68: MPS DT Blog Hop - All About Summer!
Welcome to the My Pink Stampers Pinkalicious Blog Hop! If you came from Alex's Blog you're in the right place. If this was your first stop and you would like to start at the beginning head on over to the My Pink Stampers blog. The theme of this blog hop is All About Summer! And I'm focusing on what Summer means to me. RELAXATION!!! This is my idea of relaxation - the sun, no worries and reading a book. That's why I also chose this My Pink Stampers stamp 'Don't Sweat the Small Stuff'. Perfect for trying to relax. :) That stamp is from the Fabulous Phrases stamp set. In the video I show how I did the paper piecing on my girl. She originally was the Hula girl on the Life's a Beach cartridge. Enjoy!
**I ended up loving this card so much I cut off the other half of the card to make it just a flat image and I'm going to frame it and put it in my craft room.**
To make a tall card cut your cardstock at 8" x 9" and score at 4". So your card will be 4" x 9". This size card will fit in a business size envelope.
I am giving away some blog candy for this blog hop. I am giving away the My Pink Stampers Fabulous Phrases stamp set. To be eligible to win please leave one comment on this post with a way to get a hold of you.
**For extra fun, tell me what your favorite book to read is. And if you're not a reader, what are you looking forward to this summer?**
You don't have to be a follower to win the blog candy. You have until Monday, June 13th, at 10pm MT to leave a comment. I'll announce the winner on Tuesday, June 14th.
Your next stop on the hop is Edna with Create with Expression. I love Edna. She is so fabulous and always has something amazing to share.

MPS DT - Welcome Home!
Today is the My Pink Stamper Design Team day. We were asked to make a project or card for a man. I bought the new Fathers Day Cricut cartridge for the Lazy-boy cut alone. I LOVE it. It just makes me laugh because it can be used so many different ways. :) I used Robyn's new Freedom Rocks stamp set for this card. The 'Welcome Home' message was PERFECT for this cut. Make sure you head on over to the My Pink Stampers site to see where you can order her stamps as well as see what the other design team members made.
I used my Imagine Mystical Garden cartridge for the burgundy paper in the background. It was going to be my pattern design on the chair but it looked too busy. I also used that cartridge to get the tan color of my chair.
Card Recipe:
Imagine - Mystical Garden: Chair cut at 2.2"
My Pink Stampers Freedom Rocks stamp set
Action Wobble
Checkerboard Cuttlebug Embossing folder
Brown twine
PTI - Enchanted Evening and Vintage Cream cardstock
Brown brads

Episode 57: MPS DT - You've Got Mad Skills!
This project is for the My Pink Stampers design team post. Our theme is party favors. I wanted to use the new My Pink Stampers stamp set called Sport-tastic so I searched my cartridges for a party favor that could be used w/ that stamp set. I chose the backpack cut from Life's a Party and decorated it w/ a basketball theme. I really like it. My original intention was to make a boy project but this can definitely be used for boys or girls.
I LOVE this sentiment. It's so fabulous! :)
Be sure to head on over to My Pink Stampers site to see what the other design team members made!

MPS DT - Scrapbook Layout
Today is the My Pink Stampers Design Team day. The project we were asked to make was a scrapbook layout. Now, true confession time. I've NEVER made a scrapbook layout before. EVER. So I knew that this would be a challenge for me. The reason I've never made a scrapbook page before is because I don't have anything to scrapbook. No kids, no husband/wedding. Just me and my dogs. So I decided to make a LO that dealt w/ the only subjects I know - my dogs. :) Also, I wanted to make sure that I used the pages I created and since I don't have a scrapbook I decided to make mine into wall decoration. This will be a picture happy post because I LOVED the way these turned out. LOL
First, for my dog Tavis:
For his titles I used the My Pink Stampers Love-alicious stamp set for 'Sweetheart' and Family & Friends stamp set for 'Something Special'.
Here they are all framed and up on my wall:
For their nameplates I got this idea from Maria with Believe Dream Create. Thank You So Much Maria!!!! I used Gypsy Font for the letters and I can't remember where I got the frame. Sorry. The mirror paper is called Plastic Mirror Sheet by Darice. I got the engraving tip for the Cricut from Chomas Creations. While the mat was still loaded after I engraved the images I changed the engraving tip to my deep cut blade and did multicut at 4. Yeah, it didn't cut all the way through but I had already unloaded the mat so I cut out the border by hand. Luckily it was a very simple border. :)
I used the new DCWV Immortal Love stack for the background paper. Can you we just say it should be called "The Twilight Stack". :) So if you are looking for paper to make Twilight scrapbook pages or cards this is the perfect stack for it. It also had the perfect red for my background color. I then printed off all of the images in B&W then cut out a white mat and a black mat to go around each pic. I really wanted it simplistic since I was using it as wall decoration.
Don't forget to stop by my blog on Thursday for my HILARIOUS card and also on Saturday for a blog hop I'm in. Thanks so much for stopping by! I had a ton of fun making this project. :)

Episode 46: MPS Blog Hop - Prayer Chart
Today is the My Pink Stampers Pinkalicious Blog Hop! Woo Hoo! So much fun. If you came from Sonia's blog you're in the right place. If you started here and would like to start off at the beginning of the hop head on over to Robyn's blog. The theme for this blog hop is Spring. We can make a project that deals w/ Spring or use Spring colors. I decided on Spring colors.
I had so much fun making this project. I've had it in my head for a few weeks now but it's nothing like making it the day of the hop in a rush. lol I have just been so busy w/ work and school, but at least it's done! :)
I wanted to create something that wasn't a card and so I came up with a magnetic prayer chart. What gave me the idea is the stamp from the More Faithful Sayings stamp set. It says 'A family that prays together, stays together.' I wanted to create something that a child can be involved in. So each day one of the kids can move the magnet from day to night to help the family remember to do their morning and evening family prayers. I made this for a friend of mine. Hope she likes it! :)

Episode 41: MPS Design Team - Princesa!
When I got Robyn's new stamp set called 'Spanish Sayings' I was excited to try them out. Now, I don't speak Spanish but I knew it would be fun. :) The sayings on these stamps are the same sayings on the Everyday Life stamp set, which I love.

Episode 38: MPS Pinkalicious Blog Hop - Fave Color
Welcome to the My Pink Stampers Pinkalicious Design Team Blog Hop! If you are here from Tracy's blog you're in the right spot. If you need to start at the beginning head on over to the My Pink Stampers site. The theme of this blog hop is to use your favorite color plus the color black (and a white/cream color if needed). You can create any type of project.
For my project I decided to make a shaped card, which isn't my forte, but I attempted it. I'm really happy w/ it although I think I cheated a bit. My favorite color is a dark burgundy red. W/ black my card would have been pretty dark so I added a little green and blue. :) My sentiment is from Robyn's new stamp set called 'More Faithful Sayings'. I love it! It has the sweetest sayings.
I thought that this card could be used for a House Warming card or a Thank you/Thinking of You card.
For my blog candy I am giving away one of my favorite My Pink Stamper stamps 'Family & Friends'. I probably use it the most. To be eligible to win please leave 1 comment on this post with a way to get a hold of you. You do not have to be a follower to win. This will close Monday Feb 14th at 10pm MST. I'll announce the winner on Tuesday the 15th.
You're next stop is Cristi with Scrappin' 5 Little Cupcakes. I know she has something wonderful for you to see. Enjoy the rest of the hop!
If you get lost along the way here is the line up:

Episode 31: MPS Design Team - Caterpillar Love
Today is the My Pink Stampers Design Team Day! Woo Hoo!!! :) The theme that we created our projects after is "Pink & Love". Perfect for Valentines Day that is coming up. That is the theme that I went with for my card. I used two of her stamp sets for the messages on the balloons, Love-alicious and Simply Sweet Occasions. Just like those candy heart messages, love it! :D It's kind of hard to see in the image but he is holding a heart balloon in each of his hands. Boy was it hard to get that string around his little nubby arms. lol It worked out in the end. :)
Be sure to head on over to Robyn's blog to see what she and the other design team members made.

Episode 27: My Pink Stamper Blog Hop
Welcome to the My Pink Stamper's Blog Hop! If you are here from Meesh's Pieces with Michelle you are in the right place. If you have come straight to my place and would like to start at the beginning go to My Pink Stamper's blog.
First a little about me: I have been crafting for more than 5 years but I've only had my Cricut machine a little over a year. I started my blog in November 2009. I was so excited when I had 4 followers. I knew 3 of them but I had one I didn't know and it thrilled me for weeks! :) I tried out to be on the first My Pink Stampers design team in March 2010 and made it. This was the highlight of my crafting world. :) When I saw that she had another open design team call I knew I wanted to try out for it again. It was a wonderful experience working with her and getting to know others in the crafting world. I wasn't expecting to be on the team again since I was on it before so I was shocked and THRILLED when I heard my name announced last week.
My crafting "expertise" are cards. Although, I have challenged myself to make other projects this year so come back often to see if I have finally accepted that challenge. ;) Some personal info: I'm 36, single, and live in Utah. I have two puppies that I just adore, Tavis & Kyla. I am going to school full time and I work full time. If you have any questions or would like to see something specific let me know. My email address is on the top left side of my blog.
For my project I chose to do a card (shocker!). ;) It's a birthday card for a friends daughter who loves the 50's, pink & purple, and anything shiny or w/ bling.
If you would like to see how I made the card, including the flocking on the purse, you can watch my video here:
*I normally like my videos between 5-7 minutes but I was showing different techniques in this one so it was longer than I wanted.
I am giving away 2 Hampton Art flocking sets for my blog candy. To be eligible please leave a comment on this post with a way to get a hold of you. You do not need to be a follower of my blog to win. Only 1 entry per person. You have until Monday, January 17th, 10pm MST to make a comment. I'll announce the winner on Tuesday, Jan 18th.
Thank you so much for hopping a long with us today. I've had so much fun working w/ Robyn again and the new Pink Designers.
Your NEXT STOP is Shelly w/ Cricut Cuteness. I know she has some Cricut Cuteness to share with you!

It's Not Easy Being Pink - Thank you Robyn!
Welcome to the It's Not Easy Being Pink blog hop!!! We wanted to thank Robyn, My Pink Stamper, for the privilege of working with her these last few months. It was such a wonderful experience and an honor to be part of her design team. She is an amazing woman who does so much for others. We also want to thank her for sharing her fabulous talent with us. So we wanted to do something special for her. We are holding this blog hop in her honor!
This blog hop includes 7 previous My Pink Stamper Design Team Members. Emma is still a current design team member (Lucky!). The theme of each of our products is some form of "Thank you!". You will definitely want to check out everyone's projects, they are fabulous! Plus each blog has a fun giveaway! So let's get the party rollin'....
I already sent a little thank you gift to Robyn so I wanted to make a project "Robyn Inspired". When I think of her I think of Pink and Butterflies. The first thing I did was to change my blog design to be pink! :) Then I made a card with that inspiration as well...
The butterfly cut is from the Straight from the Nest cartridge. I cut it out twice for added dimension. The sentiment is from her Buggy Punnies stamp set. Adorable! I also used the Swiss Dots cuttlebug embossing folder, PTI ribbon & Paper and the darker teal paper is from SU!. I used Stickles on the body of the butterfly as well as the swirl. I outlined the edge of my butterfly, both layers, w/ a Versamark pen. (Thanks Glora for the idea!)
For my giveaway I am giving away a 6x6 scrapbooking kit from SEI. It contains an album, designer paper, label and frame stickers, die-cut tags, alphabet stickers, brads and ribbon. If you're not a scrapbooker (like me) everything in the kit can easily be used towards your card making. That's what I do when I see one of these types of kits on sale. :) I'm also including 3 adorable butterfly stamps (2" each) from Studio G. To be entered into this giveaway please subscribe to my blog if you haven't done so already and leave a comment on this post along w/ a way to get a hold of you. The winner will be chosen by random.org. You have until Tuesday July 27th at 10pm MDT to enter. I'll announce the winner on Wednesday the 28th.

MPS Color Challenge
This card was made for the My Pink Stamper Color Challenge. We needed to make a project using brown, green, pink and orange.
I used the Straight from the Nest cartridge for the bird. I used the flip feature on it because the bird was originally facing the other way. The branch cut is from the ZooBalloo cartridge. I embossed the white paper w/ the Polka Dots Cuttlebug embossing folder.
The designer paper used is from a couple of paper packs that I got at Walmart. The name brand is called Colorbok and the packs I used are called Bright and Bright Florals. The ribbon is from PTI. The eye on the bird is stamped from the Peachy Keen Baby Animal Faces n More! stamp set.
The sentiment stamp is from the new My Pink Stampers Tweetie Hoo Puns stamp set. Love 'em!
Head on over to My Pink Stamper to see the other submission for this challenge and to submit your own! I hope you can participate!

Everyday Paper Dolls - Sand
Life's a Beach - Waves & Flip Flops
Stamps:
My Pink Stamper Family & Friends stamp set - The word Fabulous!
My Pink Stamper Simply Sweet Occasions stamp set - The flower on the Flip Flops
Paper:
I used SU! & PTI solid cardstock
Designer paper - k&i Memories Classic Prints paper pad
Be sure to look at all the other projects from the rest of the My Pink Stamper's design team. You can see them HERE.
I hope you all have a Fabulous Summer!!! And a BIG THANKS for visiting and joining my site. It has been a real pleasure being one of Robyn's design team members. I have loved every minute of it! MPS - Father's Day Challenge
The BBQ Grill (p. 41) and steak (p. 73) are from the 'From My Kitchen' cartridge. I cut the grill image in a few different ways:
- Main image - cut in black and used as the base
- Shift Main image - cut in black and silver. Cut the legs off of both and trimmed off the grill section on the black cut. That way the silver was showing through but w/ a black base.
- Layers image - Cut in yellow then chalked over it in orange so it looked like the coals were glowing.
- Popped up all but the base image on the card.
Let me know if you have any questions on this.
The base paper is PTI, the orange frame paper is SU! and the designer paper is from K&i Memories Classic Prints paper pack. Twine is from SU! The shine on the grill I drew on w/ my Gelly Roll Sakura Clear Star glitter pen. Love this pen! The glitter just rolls on.
The stamp is from the My Pink Stamper Everyday Occasions stamp set.

MPS - Family 'Male Birthday Card'
I decided to make a male card for my project. I know a lot of us, especially me, have a hard time w/ male cards. We can't help but add ribbon, flowers and bling! :D This is a birthday card for my Uncle. He loves to read so I wanted to incorporate that by making some antique looking books. The book cuts are cut at 3" and it is from the Paper Dolls for Everyday cartridge. It is located on p. 46, accessory 3 (shift) w/ the graduate cut. I cut the book out 8 different times. 1 cut for each book color and 4 times in the tan color for the pages at the top of the book. If you have the Gypsy or DS you can move the 4 books to the edge of your digital mat so it only cuts out the pages portion of the design so you waste less paper. I also chalked the pages in dark brown so the dark brown chalk could get in the creases of the cut to make it look more antique. I also inked the edges of the creme paper to help with the antique look.
The base Dark Chocolate paper and ribbon is from PTI. The creme paper is basic Roberts cardstock. The paper for the burgundy, blue and brown books are from the Paper Studio paper kit called Traditions. The green paper used on the green book is from the We R Memory Keepers Coppered Out paper kit.
And last but Definitely not least, the stamp is from the My Pink Stampers Family & Friends stamp set. Love them!

MPS Challenge #12: Critter Card
Have I said how much I LOVE the Create A Critter cartridge? No? Well, I LOVE it!!! :D I made this card to go w/ the stamped message. It's from the My Pink Stampers new stamp set called Punny-licious! You HAVE to buy this one. It's fabulous and goes w/ this cartridge so well.
Thanks for looking! It's been a long day but so worth it. So much fun!
MPS Challenge #11: Rainbow Card
When I saw this challenge I had an idea immediately of what to do. It looks complicated but it's really simple. I used the cut from my Gypsy Wanderings "cart". I just did a search for borders and I found this one. Then cut it out at 1" for each color of the rainbow then glued it down. The paper is from SU!. Then I added Stickles for some bling. :)
Thanks for looking! Be sure to head on over to My Pink Stamper to see other challenges and prizes to be won!
