Thank you Cards w/ Create a Critter

Can I just say that I LOVE Create a Critter? :) I needed to make a couple of thank you cards and the people I needed to make them for are into dogs so that worked out perfect.

This first one was for my vet. Tavis has been having a lot of health problems lately and he has been going through a battery of tests. My vet has been wonderful with him and just really cares for his patients. He emails me asking for updates on Tavis to see how he is doing. Just love this man. Seriously, if there is anyone in the West Jordan Utah area and you are in need of a vet, go to Dr. Sicklesmith with Amor Animal Hospital. Anywho, the base paper is from PTI, the paper on the dog is basic cardstock that I've bought at Roberts and the stamp is from My Pink Stampers Simply Sweet Occasions that you can buy at Custom Crops. The border punch (Isn't it the Cutest!) is an EK Success border punch.

**Funny story on this card, I ended up cutting out this dog 3 times. The first time I inked the edges but didn't like it so I cut another, then when I was getting ready to stamp the statement I dropped the ink pad right on the dogs face so I had to cut it out a 3rd time. :)**

This next card was for my friend Kim. She's been really helpful w/ my dogs, especially Tavis. The base paper and the paper used on the dog is basic cardstock that I bought at Roberts. The striped paper is from Doodlebug boy stack that I bought through scrapbookingsteals.com. The stamp and border punch are the same as in the previous card.

This is the inside of the card. I LOVE this stamp! It reminded me so much of my puppies. I got it from stampingbella.com. The name of the stamp is Butch & Mimi #CC122. They are too cute. :)

By the way, I meant to ask.... did you put your paper upside down on the Cricut or did you use a Gypsy for the mirror cut? I don't have a Gypsy. Just wondering. OH! And I feel you about dropping ink on an image. LOL Sometimes I do stuff and it stinks, but then I tell myself, hey, this is art. There are no mistakes in art. I tried to softly ink the edges of a white bunny cut with lavender ink. Um.... that turned out messy and weird looking. So I just called him "the dirty rabbit" and kept him on my card. LOL

Thanks! You can use your Flip button on your Cricut machine. That will create a mirror image. Thanks for checking out my blog and all of your comments!

OH MY GOSH! I've had my Cricut Expression for several months, although not quite a year yet, and I haven't even SEEN THE FLIP BUTTON! How amazingly focused I must be on my projects (OK, so some would say BLIND!) hahahahahahaha FLIP button..... right there...... unbelievable. //smacks self on forehead// I'll use that tomorrow.

Here's the link to my dirty rabbit....
