Episode 32: FIF Puppy/Cat Magnet Board

This weeks Flaunt it Friday's challenge is to use the Paper Pups border that has the dog and cat looking at each other (I think p. 104 in the handbook).  You need to use this cut or something similar to the cut in a paper project and submit it by Thursday, Feb 3rd to be eligible for the monthly prize.

I made a project this week that wasn't a card.  I know *GASP*!!!  ;)  I made a magnet board from scratch.  I show how I did it in the video.  It was a lot of fun to make and I love the look of it.  I'm definitely making myself one soon.

The Paper Pups cut is a silhouette.  So to make the back layer I hid the inside of the dog and cat w/ my Gypsy and then cut out the image once again.  I made the magnets with my I-Top.  And they are some strong magnets too!

Card Recipe:
Paper Pups Cricut Cartridge
Imaginisce I-Top tool and 28mm i-Top Magnet Daddies
Chipboard (size 8 1/2 x 8 1/2)

Papertrey Ink Simply Chartreuse Saddle Stitched ribbon and cardstock
Colorbox Bright Florals designer paper (Got at Walmart)

HILARIOUS that we both used 26 gauge sheet metal on our very non-metal blogs on the same day! That's it. When I move back to Utah we have to be best friends forever!

And I have to say -- that is THE cutest magnet board I have ever, ever seen. I'm totally going to use that idea for Wesley's room!
