Simply Crafts with Glora and Pam - Halloween Challenge

Hi Crafters!  We have some exciting news for you!  Glora and I have been asked by some of you to open up the challenge that we have with one another each month.  So we have decided to try it out.  We have a new blog Simply Crafts that we are putting our challenge on to make things easier.  That way you don't have to figure out what blog you need to put your project on.

So on this post I am going to tell you how I made my card and then ask you to go over to the Simply Crafts blog to find out more information on the challenge and how to submit your project.  :)

It was my turn to choose the cut and I wanted to choose a Halloween/Monster cut from a cartridge that most people might have.  This little guy really stood out to me.  Thought he could be really cute.  My problem was that I wanted him to have feet.  :)  So I looked on the same cartridge and found a vest that I thought it would look like cutie feet.  Here are the original cuts:

The vest is cut at 5.45" and the monster is cut at 4.35".

To make the black and orange background paper I first printed orange striped paper from the Country Carnival cartridge w/ my Imagine.  I then printed the diamond checker pattern from the Black & White Imagine cartridge on top of the orange.  I love the way it turned out!  I then cut out the design from the Elegant Edges Cricut cartridge.  It's the Stamp cut, button #17, Oblong option on and I hid the design in the bottom right hand corner.  It is cut at 5".

Now, to participate in this challenge, and yes a giveaway is involved, head on over to the Simply Crafts blog to submit your project.  This challenge is open for two weeks.
