Hi Crafters. I had made this large turkey cut for a table decoration but decided not to use it but I didn't want to waste it so I used it on a tall card. A tall card is 8" x 9" and scored at 4". This type of card fits in a business envelope.
To make my turkey I used the Cricut Craft Room (CCR). I can't tell you how much I LOVE this program. Yes, it has it's kinks but it is so useful. Especially w/ the Imagine. All I did was add my layers for the turkey to my mat in CCR, flood filled each layer w/ a color. Then I layered the images to where it is only one image and then color and cut. Hopefully that makes sense. :)
Also for some great news. I am now at 900 followers! I also had my 2 year blog-aversary in the last couple of weeks so I want to celebrate those two great things. Look out for my blog later this week. I'll have some blog candy giveaway.
Thanks for Watching!

Pam,
Your turkey card is adorable. What a neat way to not waste such a great piece of art. You always come up with the neatest things and I love how you take and make pieces really large and then only use a part of it. You are always thinking outside of the box. Which is just another reason I love your blog. Thanks for sharing.

I LOVE this! I love how you didn't use the entire cut of the turkey. Very creative; I keep seeing this turkey on blogs as we approach Thanksgiving, but yours is a new way of using it!
Awesome idea!!!! This card is DARLING! I also love that you can layer and cut those pieces all together in the CCR. Hugs- Glora
