This week over at Creative Critters Imaginations we are continuing the recycled theme for Earth Day. I have very limited time right now as I'm putting together graduation invitations/announcements for my niece. My room is covered in royal blue and gold. lol So this challenge actually worked in my favor this week. I have a drawer where I put all of my scraps and designs I didn't use from my Imagine. This is what my drawer looks like:
I found these 3 cuts at the bottom of the drawer and a card came instantly to mind:
To make the boy stand out on the map background I glued him down on white paper and made my own white shadow for him. I then wrapped white twine around the whole thing in an X design. I seriously made this card in less than 7 minutes and at least half of that time was making the shadow for the boy. Love it! :)
Here is what the inside of the card looks like:
Card Size - 5"x5"
Boy - 4", Map - 4.5", Lobster - 2" - These are real sizes as I don't remember what they were when I cut them out.
You are genius Pam! I need to get back into card making! My brother in law's birthday is today. Maybe that's a good start. With your fabulous new website it'll be easy to cheat and get an idea from you! Hehehehe!
totally perfect Pam! This is an AWESOME card! And I love when you can throw it together in a jiffy! Hugs- Glora
