This card I made is for my brother who LOVES to cook and experiment in the kitchen. I was trying to figure out how to make the cuts more manly and the designer paper I found is perfect! I found this little gem of a paper pack at Joanns. It's called Cloud9 Design Specialty 12x12 paper pack. It has the most beautiful and perfect blues, turquoise, browns and greys. I absolutely love it. I'm thinking about getting another one to have on hand. It's perfect for boy projects, especially big boy (uh, I mean men) projects. :)
I don't know if you can really see it in the pictures but I used the Distress Stripes Cuttlebug embossing folder on the white cardstock. This folder is perfect for men as well.
On the inside of my card I put the 2nd spoon on the measuring cup cut.
There is a new challenge going on over at the Paper Playtime. I am actually sponsoring this challenge. To be eligible for the gift (below) head on over to the Paper Playtime blog and submit your project.
A new Simply Crafts challenge this Wednesday and a brand new challenge coming on Friday that I'm doing w/ someone who creates something unique. It's going to be so much fun. Make sure you stop by. I should have videos on those two days as well.
