Elegant Mother's Day Card

Hi Crafters!  This week over at Creative Critters Imagination blog we're continuing the theme of Mother's Day.  I immediately thought of Lori's Garden Imagine cartridge.  It has so many elegant images on it.  The image I found on the cartridge was this horizontal rose vine image.  I thought that it would look great on a tall card.  I also added a sentiment, pearls, and glitter to finish it off.

I popped up the main rose w/ 1 level of pop dots.  Then popped up the center part of the rose w/ 2 levels of pop dots to make it stand out more.  I outlined the rose w/ Diamond stickles.  If you use Diamond Stickles on a printed image it wets the ink and makes it darker.  So it matches the colors of the design perfectly and you only need one color of Stickles.

4" x 9" - Tall Card, will fit in a business envelope

Somewhat of a Layout

Happy Tuesday crafters!  I first want to apologize for this project.  I am not a scrapbooker.  I really have a hard time making scrapbook pages.  Anywho...  Here is my Creative Critters Imaginations design team project.

I used only two cartridges for this page.  I used the Elegant Edges Cricut cartridge for the scalloped square, scalloped circles and the butterfly border.   The designer paper and solid colors are from the Lori's Garden Imagine cartridge.  The page is all one layer.  I used the Cricut Craft Room.  W/ this latest CCR update I am now able to cut.  Woo Hoo!  Can you say I am so excited!  :)  Love it.

I added some stickles and paper flowers to finish it off.  Make sure you check out yesterdays Creative Critters Imagination post and the rest of this week for some real amazing scrapbook pages.  :)

My name is Pam and I am a Craft Hoarder.  Seriously.  I was telling Glora this the other day.  I buy crafting supplies and I hate to use them.  I want to keep them because they are so pretty and they cost $$.  :)  So I'm determined to start using my crafting supplies as you can tell from this card.  I call it the Pearl Explosion.  LOL  The image is from Lori's Garden Imagine cartridge.  I just got it this last week and had to use it.  To make it pop a little more I used all of the layers to the image and then for it to pop a whole lot more I put pearls all over it.  Seriously.  All over it.  :)  Enjoy!
