Happy Birthday Ster

It's my brother's birthday next week and this is what I came up w/. Man it's hard to come up with male cards. :) I used the balloon from the Stretch Your Imagination cartridge. I've cut it twice to make it have more depth. You can see what I mean from the side pic. I used the DCWV Playful Posies designer paper. I had to use multicut to get a good cut on it. I then wrapped dark brown linen thread around the base of the balloon and then let it hang down the balloon as it's string. I also used the bubble Cuttlebug embossing folder on the white paper. The kraft and enchanted evening paper is from PTI and the white paper is basic white from Roberts Craft. I then inked the edge of everything w/ brown ink.

I love this card! It is so gorgeous. I love your balloons and will have to try the double cut tecnique. My cuts always look kindof "blah" on those balloons. Thanks for the inspiration!! I love your blog, too! :)
