Frank's Bride

Here is a card that I made for Halloween.  This is actually the 2nd version.  The first I didn't like at all.  I don't know if you've tried this cut out before but I don't like the layering on it.  Her face looks like it is a foot off the page.  So I did some creative layering.  I wanted her hair and dress the same height as her face and neck.  So I cut out the main image again and hand cut those images out and glued it down.  Her hair and dress was just plain purple.  Nothing fancy.  It was driving me nuts.  After looking at it all night I added the stickles to her hair and dress.  I love how her hair came out but I'm not in love w/ the dress.  I used Diamond stickles.  I didn't think it would come out this white.  THEN her head was heavy so it fell backwards creating a crease in her neck so I added a little bling to cover that up. Don't get me wrong, I still like the card it just wasn't what I was hoping it would be.  :)  Anywho, here it is:

Love this card! I agree about her face, though. When I made this cut, I didn't think to stamp her face! Great idea, and I'm going to remember that next time!

i haven't used that cut yet but i think it looks very good. i wish all cuts were all simple to layer.
if you are not happy with the dress maybe you can give it a coat of the same stickle color you used for the hair. just a tought.
