Good Luck Missionary

Here is a card I made for a young man in my church that is heading out on his mission for two years.  I can't remember where he is going but I know it's in the states so that is why I chose to do more of a red/white/blue theme.  This image is cut from the Simply Charmed Cricut cartridge.  I cut out everything but the face.  I love the Simply Charmed cartridge but not a fan of everything having a face on it.  Luckily I have my Gypsy to hide those cuts.  :)

The designer paper for the tie came from my Imagine.  I used the Heirloom Imagine cartridge and printed off a sheet of that paper.  I then used that in my Expression to cut out the image.  The reason I did this is because I wanted to tilt the top knot at an angle so it looks like the tie is actually "tied".  If that makes any sense.  :)  I hand cut out the badge.

The card is an A2 size card, the red layer is 4" x 5.25" and the Simply Charmed shirt/tie cut is at 5".

Card Recipe:
Imagine Heirloom cartridge
Simply Charmed Cricut Cartridge
PTI - White, Pure Poppy, True Black and Blueberry Sky cardstock
White Gel pen

~ Thanks for looking!

Awesome job. Yes, this particular card definitely needed the face hidden. I love that we can hide stuff on the Gypsy depending on what we are going for. And brilliant idea on the tie! It does look it is really tied! Hugs- Glora
