Luxurious Happy Birthday

This is a birthday card I made for my aunt.  She is my best friend and I just couldn't get on w/o her.  So I wanted her card to be extra special.  I had a hard time coming up with something but I think she liked it.  The inside of the card says "You deserve the very best"  I figure she can use some personal time w/ no distractions, with her favorite book and her favorite drink (Dt. Pepsi).    :)

Card Recipe:
Cricut Cartridge New Arrival - Bathtub & Bubbles (Scrap paper used)
Cricut Cartridge Paper Doll Dress Up - Book (Scrap paper used)
Cricut Cartridge Cricut Lite Block Party - Pop Bottle, used markers instead of the layers
SU! Well Scripted stamp set w/ Timber Brown StazOn Ink
PTI Dark Chocolate Cardstock
PTI Ocean Tide Cardstock
Basic Grey Capella Paper Pad (wallpaper)
Basic Grey Basics Manilla Paper Pad (floor)

A Sweet Card for Anything...

Since getting the Cindy Loo cartridge I've been wanting to make this owl.  I really like the way it turned out.  It is such a sweet card.  I left a sentiment off so I can use it for a Thank You, Happy Birthday or a Just Because.  Basically it is a card I can use for anything.  Something that I did add to the image that wasn't included in the cut was the center white eyes.  I left it w/o the white eyes but the eyes were so dark because of the colors I used it just looked a little off.  So I took my 1/4" circle punch and punched out two circles and added it to the eyes.

Card Recipe:
Cricut Cartridge - Cindy Loo
Cuttlebug Folder - Seeing Spots
PTI - Dark Chocolate cardstock
PTI - Enchanted Evening cardstock and stitched ribbon
PTI - Ocean Tide cardstock
PTI - Stamping White cardstock
White Gelly Roll pen for the doodle dots
