Happy Bird-day!

This card is a locking folding card.  I saw the design on Kristina Werner's blog.  You can see it HERE and she has a video on how she made her card as well.  I cut the base at 4.25" x 11", then scored it at 2.5" and 7.5" for my folds.  My image is the locking mechanism to keep the card closed.

On the image I used the new Cricut Craft Room.  There are quite a few bugs w/ it right now but it is to be expected because it is in beta testing right now.  I'm so excited for this program, especially to use it w/ my Imagine machine.  What I did for this image was add all of the layers of the baseball cut on the 3 Birds on Parade Cricut cartridge.  I then filled each image w/ colors and patterns from my Imagine Blast Off cartridge.  I then layered each cut on top of each other to create one image then printed it and cut it out.  I meant to print out the hat, mitt and ball to make it more layered but forgot.  But it layered perfectly and it still looks great.  I'm going to love this new program.  :)

Card Recipe:

3 Birds on Parade Cricut cartridge
My Pink Stampers Tweetie Hoo Puns stamp set
Seeing Spots Cuttlebug Embossing folder
Peachy Keen Stamps for the eye (can't remember which one I used)

~ Thanks for looking!

I heard that you could layer and print everything on the new program. Think how awesome that would be for Disney cuts. They are trying to talk me into an Imagine big time aren't they - LOL. I LOVE how your bird turned out. So super cute. Great fold too!!!
